


Age Range: 10-16 years, with siblings of all ages welcome.You will get to have a go on DJ equipment, record your own sounds, try out digital music making apps, jam on percussion instruments and much more! Everyone is welcome to try things out at their own pace and will be supported in giving things a go. All materials will be provided and the artist, Rob, will always ask how to adapt the activity to best suit you or your child.

Each week we try to follow a similar structure, so participants know what to expect. In the sessions, you will make music with DJ Rob. If you make yourself a member of the library and group (proof of address is required) then you will be able to access a larger selection of Autistic related books which can be borrowed from the library.įor any more information contact telephone DGLAM on 01302 734315 Autism Dungeons and Dragons ClubĪll Aboard Art Club is a free weekly session ran during term time for children and young people with additional needs or learning disabilities and their families. There will be games and activities designed with Autistic children in mind in a friendly, welcoming environment. The activities are aimed at children between 5 and 12 years, but, as this is a family evening, children outside these ages are also welcome. Activities will start and finish in the children's library, with some activities taking place in another part of the building. Families have the opportunity to chat and make friends with others with the same understanding as themselves. The Autistic Children’s Evening and Siblings (ACE+S) is a free group held every first Thursday of the month in the Danum Gallery, Library and Museum, for any family with a child on the pathway or diagnosed with Autism and their siblings.įamilies can come and chat about their experiences and find out more information about what the council offer some evenings may have a guest speaker.
